A SYMPTOM OF A DEEPER PROBLEM

We're told this is "Geometry" and it teaches "Logical Thinking".  Both of these sentiments are wrong.  But worse than wrong, this simple example:

 - will quickly destroy one's love of math;

 - undermine one's confidence they can reason things out.
